freistilbox Pro

freistilbox Pro clusters connect to shared database infrastructure by default, which works well for most sites. If your sites have high database demands or need guaranteed capacity, you can upgrade to a dedicated database server or a full HA cluster.

Dedicated database server/cluster

A dedicated MySQL server gives your sites their own database resources, with no contention from other customers. Add a second server to form an HA cluster, keeping your database online even if one node fails. For high-traffic sites, additional nodes distribute read queries across the cluster.

Our dedicated database servers run on hardware, not virtual machines. That means no virtualisation overhead, no overcommitment, and no other workloads competing for the same resources.

Prices are per server. High Availability (“HA cluster”) requires at least two servers.
