Every freistilbox Enterprise deployment runs on dedicated physical servers — no virtualisation layer, no shared hardware, no overcommitment. You get the full capacity of every machine, with performance characteristics you can rely on.

We design the architecture around your specific workload: the number and size of application boxes, database configuration, cache layer, storage, and redundancy are all tailored to what your sites actually need.

Components

Application Boxes: Your web applications run across as many application boxes as your traffic and redundancy requirements demand, with load balancing and failover built in.

Content Cache: A Content Cache sits in front of your cluster, distributing requests across your application boxes and serving repeat requests from RAM in microseconds — without touching your application at all.

Shell Box: Direct SSH access to your cluster for file management, maintenance, and scheduled jobs, without going through your web application.

Database: A dedicated bare-metal database cluster with high availability built in from the start. Additional nodes are available to distribute read queries under heavy traffic.

Shared Storage: High-performance distributed file storage, ensuring uploaded files and assets are instantly available across all application boxes.

Expert support: The web operations engineers who built and run the platform are your support contact — not a call center.
